Call for equal seats at international institutions for developing countries

NEW YORK (United Nations) — The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, reiterated Thursday, in New York, during the meeting of the Group of 77, the need to enshrine the principle of fair representation of developing countries in international institutions, noting that the 1964 Algiers Charter “remains a reference for cooperation and coordination” between the countries of the group.
