Ambassador Amar Bendjama unanimously endorsed as ECOSOC's next president

NEW YORK (United Nations) - The group of African Ambassadors in New York has unanimously endorsed Ambassador Amar Bendjama, Algeria's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, as the next president of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), in a strong affirmation of the continental unity.
