Spain convicts Moroccan drug trafficking network

MADRID - Spanish court once again highlighted the growing networks of drug smuggling coming from Morocco toward Europe, after convicting five defendants to prison sentences in connection with the entry of 13.7 tons of cannabis resin into Spain via a truck that departed from the port of Nador in the northeast of the Kingdom, in one of the largest smuggling operations uncovered in recent months.
