UN brings Western Sahara issue back into international spotlight

GENEVA - UN Secretary-General Ant?nio Guterres brought the Western Sahara issue back to the forefront of international discussions during his annual meeting with top UN officials and special envoys, held in Geneva from 18 to 20 January, amidst intensified diplomatic efforts to break the deadlock in this decades-old colonial conflict.
