A3+ Group backs Somalia, calls for sustainable funding for AU mission

NEW YORK (UN) - The A3+ Group in the UN Security Council (Algeria, Somalia, Sierra Leone, and Guyana) reaffirmed on Tuesday, in New York, its full support for the security and stability of Somalia, emphasizing the importance of providing sufficient and sustainable funding for the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) to safeguard the gains achieved during recent years.
