Security Council: Algeria calls for "clear-sighted, strong" leadership for peace

NEW YORK (United Nations) - Algeria's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Toufik Laid Koudri, called on Monday in New York for "clear-sighted and strong" leadership for peace, stressing that Algeria, a staunch defender of multilateralism, considered that this goal was only possible when UN member states were united behind a common objective and purpose.
