NEW YORK (United Nations) - Algeria affirmed on Monday in New York, through its Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Amar Bendjama, that breaking the vicious cycle between famine and conflict is essential to preserving international peace and security, emphasizing its commitment to working with all parties to protect civilians, enforce international humanitarian law (IHL), and support a lasting and just peace around the world.
