AU PSC tackles disinformation threats as Algeria highlights proactive approach

ADDIS ABABA - The Peace and Security Council (PSC) of the African Union (AU) convened a meeting under the theme "Information Integrity, Peace and Security in Africa" to review the increasing fallout from disinformation, fake news, hate speech, and information manipulation on digital platforms and AI applications, while analyzing their direct effect on continental peace, security, and stability.
