ADDIS ABABA - The African Union (AU) Peace and Security Council (PSC) held a meeting on Saturday, under Nigeria’s chairmanship, to discuss the ongoing efforts to strengthen the African Standby Force as a core pillar of AU Peace and Security, as part of implementing the recommendations of the strategic review aimed at enhancing the force’s readiness and effectiveness in addressing the continent’s mounting security challenges.
