AU calls for strengthening press freedom across Africa

BANJUL - The African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) on Sunday called for strengthening press freedom and freedom of expression, stressing that free, independent and pluralistic media is a cornerstone of any democratic system.
