Senegal calls for international inquiry into CAF over "corruption suspicions"

DAKAR - The Senegalese Government expressed Wednesday, in a statement, its "profound dismay" following the decision by the Appeals Board of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to strip the Senegalese team of its 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title, calling for the launch of an independent international investigation into suspected corruption within the CAF’s governing bodies.
