Gold medal, new world record for Algeria’s Safia Djelal in shot put

ALGIERS — Algerian Paralympic champion, Safia Djelal, won the gold medal in the shot put event (F57), setting a new world record on Thursday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, in India, on the sixth day of the World Para Athletics Championships (men and women), which will conclude in three days.
