President Tebboune appoints Saad Arous as President of National Independent Authority for Elections

ALGIERS - The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, signed two presidential decrees on Monday.

The first decree terminates the duties of Karim Khelfane as acting president of the National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE). The second decree appoints Saad Arous as president of the authority, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
