President Tebboune orders Algerian ambassador to Mali to return to Bamako

ALGIERS - President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune has ordered the return of Kamal Retieb to Bamako as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Republic of Mali, effective as of Friday, 10 July 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
