President Tebboune chairs annual ceremony conferring ranks, awarding medals to PNA officers

ALGIERS - President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Saturday presided over the annual ceremony for conferring ranks and awarding medals to several general officers, senior officers and civilian personnel of the People’s National Army (PNA), on the eve of celebrations marking the 64th anniversary of Independence and the recovery of national sovereignty, the Ministry of National Defence said in a statement.
