President Tebboune departs Palace of the People after presiding over army promotion, awards ceremony

ALGIERS - President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence Abdelmadjid Tebboune departed the Palace of the People, in Algiers, on Saturday following the annual ceremony for the awarding of ranks and medals to a number of general officers, senior officers, and civilian personnel of the People's National Army, held on the eve of the 64th anniversary of Independence and the restoration of national sovereignty.
