In a statement following the audience, the Nigerien Minister of Public Health, Population, and Social Affairs, Garba Hakimi, indicated that the delegation was composed of six ministers, each of whom had previously held discussions with their Algerian counterparts.

He stated that these meetings made it possible to review the various structural projects currently being developed in the relevant sectors.

Recalling that Algeria and Niger are neighbouring and brotherly countries, Hakimi emphasized that cooperation between the two countries has gained "new momentum following the state visit to Algeria by the President of the Republic of Niger, General Abdourahamane Tiani, thanks to the will expressed by the leaders of both countries."

He reported significant progress in the implementation of various structural projects, noting that some have already been completed, while others are ongoing or at different stages of execution.

He further stated that as stakeholders in this cooperation, members of the Nigerien delegation "can only welcome this momentum and the quality of cooperation between the two countries."

The Nigerien minister also stressed that the delegation made use of the audience with the President of the Republic to "receive his guidance and advice."

"Practical advice that will enable us to achieve much more concrete results within reasonable timeframes," he noted.

At the end of the visit, Hakimi stated that the Nigerien delegation was "very satisfied" with the outcomes achieved, stating that the momentum driven by the leaders of both countries "will allow further progress in the implementation of various projects for the great benefit of both peoples."
