The President of the Republic first inaugurated a new exhibition pavilion at the Exhibition Centre, named the "Palestine Pavilion," where he received a detailed briefing from Karim Boukadoum, Director General of the Algerian Company for Exhibitions and Exports (SAFEX).

He then attended a presentation by Minister of Domestic Trade and National Market Regulation Amel Abdellatif on the economic landscape, the performance of economic operators in goods and services production and the participation of Algerian businesses and enterprises.

The President then visited the pavilion of the Ministry of National Defence, where he received detailed explanations on the latest developments in military manufacturing, particularly in combat vehicle production, weapons systems, and unmanned aircraft "drones."

He also toured the pavilion of Khenchela’s Mechanical Construction Corporation, which specializes in light weapons manufacturing, where he viewed the latest products and weaponry, notably the semi-automatic pump-action rifle, considered the crown jewel of the national military industry.

President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune also visited the pavilion of the Central Supply Base of the First Military Region, where he received detailed briefings on battery production chains and cutting-edge energy technologies.

At the pavilion of the Vehicle Equipment Renewal Corporation within the National Defence Ministry, the President of the Republic received explanations on refrigeration units, whose production has seen significant growth in line with army unit requirements and the pursuit of self-sufficiency.

He then visited the pharmaceutical industry pavilion, where he learned about the operations of the LDM pharmaceutical manufacturing group.

He received detailed presentations on the new hormone drug manufacturing facility, the fifth of its kind worldwide, which produces thyroid medication through an Algerian-German partnership.

The President also stopped at the National Biotechnology Research Centre of Constantine, under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, where he attended a presentation on the Centre’s agricultural contributions, particularly the tissue culture techniques it developed to produce new fruits for Algerian agriculture, such as bananas, as well as its work in training and healthcare.

President Tebboune also visited the pavilion of Giplait Group, where he viewed new products and achievements by the leading dairy manufacturer.

He received briefings on the group's strategy to align with government directives on promoting domestic production.

At the pavilion of Agrodiv food industries group, President Tebboune received briefings on the group's performance and new products, particularly following its expansion and the commissioning of new production facilities.

The President of the Republic then headed to the pavilion of Tosyali-Algeria iron and steel group, where he was briefed on new projects the group has launched in Gara Djebilet and Bechar.

He also visited the Ceram Decor ceramics and pottery manufacturing pavilion, which employs over 2,000 workers and exports to more than 25 countries.
