Gara Djebilet iron ore exploitation to begin in first quarter of 2026

ALGIERS - The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, affirmed during the Council of Ministers meeting that the beginning of exploitation of Gara Djebilet iron ore will be in the first quarter of 2026, with the aim of achieving self-sufficiency and progressively reducing import costs.
