National Liberation Front party leads legislative elections with 90 seats

ALGIERS, 6 July 2026 (APS) - The National Liberation Front (FLN) party took the lead in the legislative elections held on July 2, winning 90 seats in the People’s National Assembly (the Lower House of Parliament), according to provisional results announced Monday by Karim Khelfane, Acting President of the National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE).
