52 agreements signed across multiple sectors at Algerian Products, Services Fair in Nouakchott

ALGIERS - The number of agreements signed since the opening of the 8th Algerian Products and Services Fair in Nouakchott, Mauritania, on May 5 has risen to 52 across multiple sectors, according to a statement issued Sunday by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion.
This follows the signing on Saturday of 25 new agreements and memorandums of understanding between economic operators from both countries, in the presence of Algeria’s ambassador to Mauritania, Amine Sid, as well as representatives of Algerian exporters’ associations and the Mauritanian Employers’ Union.
The agreements cover several sectors, including industry, mining, electrical cables, manufacturing, health services, mechanical industry, medical supplies, startup services and solutions, higher education and hydraulics.
These agreements are added to those signed last Thursday, numbering 27, among them four in the healthcare services sector.
According to the ministry, these outcomes reflect "the fair's success in establishing itself as a genuine economic platform for forging partnerships and opening new avenues for cooperation and investment, bolstering the presence of Algerian businesses in the Mauritanian market and across Africa more broadly."
The results also reflect "the effectiveness of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion in supporting Algerian business operators," providing them with direct networking opportunities with African partners while encouraging national enterprises to broaden their export reach and build lasting trade relationships.
