Major operations conducted in 2025

ALGIERS - Customs services carried out major operations during 2025, seizing 9.87 tons of cannabis resin, 728.3 kg of cocaine, and over 16.5 million hallucinogenic pills nationwide as part of anti-drug and psychotropic substance trafficking efforts, the Customs Director General Major General Abdelhafid Bakhouche announced Saturday in Algiers during the ceremony commemorating the World Customs Day.
