Algiers port launches first rail container service

ALGIERS - The first-ever rail container transport operation from the Port of Algiers has been launched, with containers transported to Rouiba area, with the aim of improving port operations and ensuring seamless cargo movement, the Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport said Monday in a press release.
