Algeria successfully includes Algerian date varieties into international standards

ALGIERS -Algeria succeeded, during its participation in the 48th Codex Alimentarius Commission, held at the headquarters of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome (November 10-14), in including the qualitative varieties of Algerian dates, particularly "Deglet Nour," within the international standards adopted in this field, according to a statement from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and National Market Regulation.
