Algeria dispatches technical mission to Niger after oil well incident

ALGIERS - Algeria dispatched a technical mission comprising officials and experts from the Ministry of Hydrocarbons, the Hydrocarbons Regulatory Authority and Sonatrach Group to the Republic of Niger from October 12 to 19 to provide support and technical assistance following the incident at the "Gomri W-8" oil well in the Agadem oil field in northeastern Niger, according to a statement released Tuesday by the Ministry of Hydrocarbons.
