Algeria, India hold talks to boost partnership in hydrocarbons exploration and production

ALGERIA, 11 June 2026 (APS) - Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons Mohamed Arkab received on Thursday, in Algiers, the Chief Executive Officer of the Indian company Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Company (SEEPCO), Mohit Barot, where the two parties discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation and investment with the Sonatrach group across the various segments of the oil and gas industry, as per a ministry statement.
