Algeria, US explore mining cooperation opportunities

ALGIERS - The Secretary of State to the Minister of Mines and Mining Industry, Karima Bakir Tafer, received on Sunday in Algiers the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Algeria, Mark A. Schapiro, with whom she explored cooperation opportunities in the mining sector, particularly in the areas of exploration, extraction and industrial processing of mineral resources, according to a statement from the ministry.
