Algeria, Africa’s longest railway bridge nearing completion by October

BECHAR — Construction of Algeria and Africa’s longest railway bridge, spanning 4.111 kilometers over the Oued Dawra riverbed near Bechar, is scheduled for completion by next October, the National Agency for Studies and Monitoring of Railway Investment Implementation said on Saturday.
