Banking modernization, financial inclusion top agenda of BA Governor’s meeting with banks

ALGIERS - The Governor of the Bank of Algeria (BA), Mohammed Lamine Lebbou, chaired a meeting on Sunday in Algiers with the leaders of all commercial banks operating in the country.

The meeting examined the banking activity report, evaluated monetary policy measures, and discussed accelerating financial inclusion and electronic payments, as well as the strategic challenges facing the sector, the BA said in a statement.
