Aim is to go cashless by 2028, says Bank of Algeria Governor

WASHINGTON - The National Payments Committee (NPC), established last year to promote the digitization of financial transactions, has developed a strategy to achieve "cashless transactions by 2028," according to Salah Eddine Taleb, Governor of the Bank of Algeria.
