Ambitious program to gradually phase out seed, seedling imports, says Minister

BLIDA – The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Yacine El-Mahdi Oualid, said on Thursday in Blida that his ministry is preparing an "ambitious program" to gradually phase out the importation of seeds and seedlings, with a view to ensuring food security and reducing the country's import bill.
