Algeria ranks second in barley production across Arab world, Africa

ALGIERS - Algeria ranked second among the largest barley producers in both the Arab world and Africa, with output reaching approximately 1.2 million tons in the 2025/2024 season, according to a report of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
