Raffour book fair: Novel's enduring role in preserving history, national memory emphasized

BOUIRA, 04 March 2026 (APS) – The Algerian novel has always been in the service of history, and remains to serve as a vital tool for preserving memory and passing it on to younger generations, writers and novelists said Friday at the 1st "Sahel Valley" National Book Fair, which has been hosted since Thursday in the village of Raffour (M'Chedallah), in Bouira.
