Tlemcen’s "El Mouahidia" earns UNESCO accreditation for heritage safeguarding

TLEMCEN - The recent granting of international accreditation to the "El Mouahidia" Association for the Preservation of the Historical, Cultural, and Tourist Heritage of the city of Nedroma (Tlemcen Province) by UNESCO in the field of safeguarding intangible cultural heritage is the culmination of a long series of field initiatives undertaken by the association to protect, document, and promote local heritage, its president, Azzeddine Midoun, said on Thursday.
