Algeria has built institutions needed to safeguard its manuscript heritage, Bendouda says

ALGIERS -The Minister of Culture and Arts, Malika Bendouda, affirmed on Monday that Algeria has established, to protect its manuscript heritage, "the qualified institutions to assume this noble mission", adding that the Algerian National Library was "the first line of defense that rescued our manuscript heritage from colonialism’s attempts to burn, steal and destroy it."
