Assad hails Yennayer as beacon of Algeria’s heritage, unity

BENI ABBES - The secretary-general of the High Commission for Amazighity (HCA), Si El Hachemi Assad, said on Monday evening that the 6th President of the Republic’s Prize for Amazigh Literature and Language in Beni Abbès, concurrent with the celebration of the Amazigh New Year, "Yennayer 2976," reflects the determination of public authorities to entrench Yennayer as a unifying event deeply rooted in the historical and cultural depth of the Algerian nation.
