5 placed in pretrial detention, over 1 million psychotropic tablets and 86.4 kg of cocaine seized

ALGIERS - The investigating judge of the specialized judicial division at the Sidi Ahmed Court (Algiers Judicial District) issued orders placing five individuals in pretrial detention for their involvement in a case involving the possession of more than one million psychotropic tablets and over 86 kg of cocaine, according to a statement from the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the court.
