Belmehdi receives 5th group of imams sent for training at Al-Azhar Academy in Egypt

ALGIERS - Minister of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, Youcef Belmehdi, received Sunday, in Algiers, the fifth group of imams sent to Al-Azhar International Academy for Training, affiliated with Al-Azhar’s Islamic Research Complex in Egypt, as part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between Algeria and Egypt in the field of religious affairs, the ministry said in a statement.
