Curbing road carnage, necessary response to road terrorism

ALGIERS - For years, our roads have increasingly resembled lawless zones due to the actions of reckless drivers.

In 2025 alone, these "road terrorists" caused 4,500 deaths and 57,000 injuries, many of which resulted in lifelong disabilities.
