Upper House members unanimously approve President of the Republic’s notification on deployment of Army units to Niger

ALGIERS - Pursuant to Article 136 (Paragraph 3) of the Constitution, the Speaker of the Council of the Nation (the upper house of Parliament), Azouz Nasri, on Sunday chaired a closed plenary session convened to approve the notification issued by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, regarding the deployment of units of the People’s National Army (PNA) outside the country, in the Republic of Niger.
