Upper House urges non-selective application of international human rights law at Uzbekistan conference

ALGIERS - The Council of the Nation (Upper House of Parliament) affirmed, during its participation in the 12th World Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, the need to uphold the provisions of international human rights law and international humanitarian law without selectivity, according to a statement issued by the Council.
