PM departs Italy after attending opening ceremony of Mediterranean Games

TARANTO - Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb departed the Republic of Italy today, Saturday, to return home, after representing President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the official opening ceremony of the 20th edition of the Mediterranean Games, hosted in the Italian city of Taranto.

The PM was seen off at Taranto-Grottaglie Airport by Algeria's Ambassador to Italy, Mohamed Khelifi.

This participation highlights Algeria's active presence in regional sports and diplomatic forums, while reflecting its firm support for the national athletic delegation taking part in this major Mediterranean event.
