Foreign Affairs Ministry outlines apostille process effective July 9th

ALGIERS - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Tuesday that, as of July 9, the date on which the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents (Apostille Convention) enters into force for Algeria, public documents issued by several ministerial departments will no longer be subject to the traditional consular legalization process when they are intended for use in countries that are parties to the Convention.
