Sofiane Chaib oversees meeting between Algerian officials, diaspora representatives in Germany

ALGIERS  -  Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community Abroad Sofiane Chaib presided over the opening of a meeting via videoconference on Saturday, organized by the Algerian Embassy in Berlin for heads and representatives of Algerian associations active in the Federal Republic of Germany, in the presence of the Algerian Ambassador to Berlin and the Consul General of Algeria in Frankfurt, the ministry said in a statement In his remarks at the event, the Secretary of State underscored the "particular interest shown by the country’s top authorities to the members of the national community living abroad, as well as their dedication to improving channels of dialogue and coordination with them and to backing initiatives that serve the nation's broader interests," according to the communiqué.
