Assigned by President Tebboune, Rector of Great Mosque of Algiers to pay official visit to UK

ALGIERS- Assigned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of State, Rector of Djamaa El-Djazaïr (the Great Mosque of Algiers), Sheikh Mohamed Maamoun Al Kacimi Al Hoceini, accompanied by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, will begin an official visit to the United Kingdom on Friday to oversee the launch ceremony of the "Emir Abdelkader Chair" at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies and the inauguration of the "Algeria Hall" at this prestigious academic institution, according to a statement issued on Thursday by the Rectorate of the mosque.
