Electoral campaign gets underway Tuesday

ALGIERS -The electoral campaign for the legislative elections of July 2 has officially kicked off today, Tuesday, marking the start of an intense political contest during which political parties and independent candidates will compete to win the support of more than 24 million eligible voters, ahead of a vote widely seen as a key milestone in the strengthening and renewal of the country's legislative institutions.
