Arab Parliament chief congratulates Boutbig on PAP presidency

ALGIERS - Arab Parliament (AP) President Mohamed Ahmed Alyammahi congratulated Fateh Boutbig, a member of Algeria's Council of the Nation (upper house of Parliament), on his election as President of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) for the 2026–2029 term, lauding the victory as a "significant achievement" for Arab parliamentary diplomacy, the Council of the Nation said Friday in a statement.
