The report emphasized that "as part of ongoing counter-terrorism and organized crime efforts, PNA units and detachments carried out numerous operations between March 11 and 17, 2026, yielding significant outcomes that reflect the high level of professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our armed forces."

Regarding counterterrorism, the report said that "PNA detachments neutralized seven terrorists and recovered seven Kalashnikov-type assault rifles, a significant quantity of ammunition, and other equipment in Tebessa, within the 5th Military Region. Meanwhile, other PNA detachments arrested three support elements for terrorist groups in a series of separate operations nationwide."

On the organized crime front, "as part of sustained efforts to combat drug trafficking, combined PNA detachments carried out an ambush in Tamanrasset, in the 6th Military Region, resulting in the elimination of four armed criminals and the seizure of one Kalashnikov-type assault rifle.

Other combined detachments, operating in coordination with security services across various military regions, arrested 49 drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to smuggle 8 quintals and 22 kilograms of treated cannabis across the borders with Morocco, while 3,712,969 psychotropic tablets were seized."

In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Salah, and In Guezzam, PNA detachments arrested 237 individuals and seized 35 vehicles, 241 power generators, and 139 jackhammers, in addition to a significant quantity of raw gold ore and equipment used in illegal mining.

Furthermore, "in separate operations, 11 individuals were arrested, with seizures including two submachine guns, two automatic pistols, seven hunting rifles, 78,781 liters of fuel, and 6 quintals of tobacco."

The report concluded that "Coastguard units foiled several illegal immigration attempts along the country's coastline, rescuing 111 individuals aboard homade crafts, while 463 illegal immigrants of various nationalities were intercepted across the national territory."
