Thursday to mark first day of Ramadan 1447 in Algeria

ALGIERS  - The National Committee for Crescent Observation, affiliated with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, meeting Tuesday evening at Dar El-Imam (Algiers), announced that the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan 1447 AH will be the day after tomorrow, Thursday, 19 February 2026, due to the non-sighting of the crescent moon.
