Algeria reaffirms full commitment to Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention in Geneva

GENEVA (United Nations) - Algeria presented in Geneva, Switzerland, its pioneering experience in mine clearance with purely national capacities, as well as the state mechanisms established to protect and support anti-personnel mine victims, while reaffirming its full commitment to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their Destruction, and its objectives.
